Beef was delicious, pricing can be quite high, we would love if there is more explanation to be printed for non local to know more about the food. Service was great

Got the mix cut of loin and lean meat which was from Kawamoto. It came with a rice, miso soup, pickled vegetables, dessert as well as an appetiser. The star of the show was the beef that was cooked the 1st round with fat and sugar. That first piece was the best bite of the whole meal. Cooked thoroughly to perfection by the waitress, it nearly made me shed a tear... If you're visiting the 1st time they do jage various outlets so do feel free to book in advance. I did book 2 weeks earlier with slots to spare otherwise if you choose to head down physically you may end up on the wait list for the day itself.

We had a great lunch at Moritaya. We ordered the most expensive course and the cheapest lunch set. The premium course has a well spoken Japanese old lady who cooked for us. She could speak very good English and was very friendly. Both beef qualities were superb but not the same and incomparable. It is like you can't compare a BMW with a Toyota. Both are great at their price point.
