Nothing spectacular about a cold soba noodles. But somehow, it has this attraction for something so simple and yet so satisfying. When you see the stream of customers coming thru the doors and you will understand why. Finally, adding the hot water (the water that cooked the soba) into the remaining dipping sauce to make the soup, to end off the meal.

This was awesome! The texture of noodle was so nicely good and gooey but not sticky! I am not sure if this noodle was 100% buckwheat. One of the most popular menu here is the soba with sea herring on top which is called nissing soba. Give it a try!

Following Michelin’s recommendation, I came to this excellent Soba restaurant. I took the signature 八二そば dish, with amazing fish cake as side dish. Great good and service. No wonder Michelin recommended it
