A tiny place by the entrance to the food street. Their takoyaki has no sauce nor mayo over, but it's very juicy inside. Supposedly this is the original way of making them. It's pretty cheap so I think it's worth a try.

Lovely staff, the gentleman at the counter helped me to get my order correctly despite my lack of Japanese. He showed the total price at the display and requested the order to the cook. A minute later I had in hands a nice takeaway box with 12 OG takoyakis, steaming fresh from the cooking tray. They also included in the bag a folder with more information about the shop and a pair of wooden sticks so you can go elsewhere to enjoy the treats with no fuss. No mayo, sauce or bonito flakes, but you don’t want to mask the flavour with those gimmicks.
