Osaka, Japan｜Kura Sushi Shinsekai Tsutenkaku

We went at 11am on a weekday and we were the 1st customers. There are tablets on each table (with english option!) to order with aside from the sushi plates passing along the conveyor belts. Food is delicious and cheap! A little over 2000 yen for 4 persons!

Different from what Europeans know as Running Sushi. Quality of the fish is much better, lots of fish, egg, even meat on rice, as well as side dishes to choose from, price is reasonable. I was full after 11 plates. You get hot water refills at the table that you mix it with green tea powder. The tea is bitter and a palette cleanser. Might now be everyone's taste. You can order via screen and pay for every plate. Your order gets delivered to you on the upper conveyor. Additionally, the lower conveyor will have random sushi for a fixed price per plate. The final price is calculated automatically via plate drop shoot. English explanation and menu is available. You scan a QR code and pay at a machine. Wish we had this at home!

No lines when I visited there, so I could comfortably walked in and had a table. Great and fresh sushi as well. The gacha machine was not working, even after we had ordered 18 plates. But the staff was very kind and gave us a chance to randomly choose 1 gacha ball to take home.
