More Comments at Google MapThe best oden I've ever eaten! Showa style old shop. There is no menu, only the dishes written in hiragana on the top, which feels very nostalgic. The soup base is rich and has the style of a century-old stew, no matter how much you drink, you will not get tired!
One of the best Oden bars in Osaka. Great food and great atmosphere!
Today's lunch was at Tamatsukuri's Kanto-ni Kikuya. It was a support lunch for a shop that is working hard to stay open despite the coronavirus pandemic. We had an oden lunch at Kanto Nikikuya, a restaurant located right on the east side of Tamatsukuri Station on the JR Loop Line. Native Osaka people seem to refer to oden as ``Kanto-daki.'' "Kanto Ni Kikuya" is popular even in summer, but today there was no wait outside and the restaurant was empty, so I couldn't help but be drawn into the restaurant. Now, As usual, what I received that day was rice (medium) and natto (egg yolk only). And the oden is radish, fried tofu, ganmo, and sausage. In addition, I also asked for eggs and chikuwa. Regarding the ``oden'' here, the oden soup stock is apparently made from chicken bones. In addition, the umami from oden ingredients such as beef tendon and paste is added to create the best oden soup stock. My recent favorites are well-seasoned radish and ganmo! Naturally, I like "egg" the most. Oden lunch was really delicious~~~~
