I shared 3 types of B course with my family at lunch. Overall, you can enjoy various recipes from Alsace in the north to the south of France, and you can enjoy wonderful dishes! Merlot grape juice, which is not reduced to concentrated fruit juice, was the best soft drink! Above all, the variety and volume of the appetizers were overwhelming, and I was almost full with the mouth-watering cod brandade. 2500 yen is a surprise! What is impressive in the contents seems to be fermented butter? It's a fragrant keksare, stir-fried sauerkraut (?), and it seems like it's always included. The main dishes are beef tendon stewed in demiglace sauce, roasted pork with basil and olive oil sauce (?), and chicken mousse with lobster sauce. All were outstanding, but Mr. Pig was particularly delicious. The dessert was also very satisfying with cakes, ice cream, sorbet and fruits lined up! Coffee is good too.

This is a shop located in a somewhat local area in the city of Yamashina. In other words, it is a restaurant that is very familiar to the local area, yet serves sophisticated cuisine. I visited for lunch, and they took all possible precautions against the coronavirus and took good care of our group, for which I was grateful. The lunch menu has a system where the price changes depending on whether the main dish is accompanied by dessert, hors d'oeuvres, etc., and I chose the menu that included hors d'oeuvres. It was quite voluminous, well-cooked and delicious. He was a very serious chef, and we agreed to pay the amount we were satisfied with without any hesitation, but the staff member made a mistake in the calculation at the time of payment, so we contacted him about an hour after leaving the restaurant. Although I was staying in Arashiyama that day, they came out of their way the next morning to return the difference. Although we were humbled to return, we were so impressed by the chef's personality that we would like to visit again next time, and thanks to that experience, this trip was a warm one.
