Fukuchiyama, Kyoto, Japan｜IL PAZZINI

Drove an hour and a half to have lunch here and it was really worth it. Had pizza and spaghetti for lunch. Great food and staff. Nice decor. Really worth a visit if you're outside the Fuchiyama area. Took in the castle after lunch for a perfect day out!

Did not expect such good pizza in such a small japanese town. Was happy to grab some good Italian food in a reasonable price (1300 for lunch set including a glass a wine and soup)

The best pizza I've had in Japan so far. Bizarre that I had to come to this little town to find it. They are made in a brick oven to perfection. Bottom is not soggy like I so often find at other pizza restaurants here. The ricotta margherita in particular was very good. Skip the zappole though. We will be coming back to try their other non-pizza dishes as well. Friendly staff and spacious two story eating area. My only complaint is that they do not have hot pepper flakes for the pizza. They did accommodate by bringing out togarashi. English on the menu.
