Kyoto, Japan｜Gyū Kimura

No English menu, but friendly service. Ended up getting wagyu shabu shabu that involved local vegetables (mizuna) and was absolutely delicious. A little on the pricey side for Japan, but a unique experience and very worth it in my opinion. Did not reserve in advance and was able to get a table on a weekday night walk in.

There is no English menu but it was easy to work out what to order with the help of the lovely lady who served us tonight (and Google translate!). We went with the recommended dish which was a spread of variety of beef cuts for grilling. It was an awesome experience and the beef was super delicious and tender. I will definitely come back if we ever visit Kyoto again.

The shabushabu is delicious with udon at the end.
