Nantan, Kyoto, Japan｜ギャラリーカフェ道の途中

I loved this place. Inside was so relaxing… beautiful antiques and old Japanese guitars ( Shimano and yamaki ) . Very nice modern jazz playing in the background ( no nasty fusion or standards ) , excellent food and friendly service. I’ll be back!!!

2023.8.20 I went to eat lunch. It is a shop that uses an old private house. I ate the loco moco set, the omakase set, and the shaved ice (mango smoothie), and they were all delicious. If I had to say it, I'm a man, so I would like the loco moco set to have a little more volume. The atmosphere inside the store is good, and the second floor is a gallery that sells pottery and other items. There is plenty of greenery around the shop, and it feels good just to look at it.

The weather was nice, so I stretched out my legs and took a stroll to Nantan. I made a reservation at a shop that I had checked before. It was a reservation on the day, but they accepted it willingly. It's on a narrow road, I wonder if it's here? I was worried, but I arrived safely. The day I went there was a live concert that happens once a month, and I had lunch surrounded by light and gentle music. Lucky 😃💕 We ordered the omakase plate lunch and a cake. I think I used to be able to choose only rice or bagels for the plate, but this time I chose rice. However, since the main dish was meat, I would have preferred rice. Vegetable soup is also full of vegetable flavor and seems to be good for the body. The cake was also a chiffon cake, it wasn't too sweet and went well with the coffee💕 I was hesitant about the strawberry parfait, but I didn't try it this time because of the price, but I felt that it was definitely a delicious one. I wanted to eat…. The people at the shop were also very pleasant, and I had a very extraordinary hour.
