Its a great place to chill! I wanted to visit Hozan goen and the owner lent me their electric bike! The food is affordable too at the decoration is comfy. They also allowed me to store my belongings while I biked around. I was initially worried i wouldn't be able to climb hozan goen but i got way more than expected. Even though my Japanese is super limited, still had a lot of fun chatting!

Visited September 2022 It is a cafe with a calm atmosphere in front of Kamiyakuno Station on the JR San'in Main Line☕ There aren't many trains in this area, so you can use it during the day while waiting. There is a lunch menu, cafe menu, and drinks, and the prices are reasonable 😄 The staff were very nice and I was able to spend a relaxing time there!

The original spice curry made with local Kyoto chicken is exquisite. This cafe is located in a renovated 100-year-old traditional house, and is frequented by locals.☕Taste pizza made with local vegetables, Yakuno soba noodles, rice balls made with local black beans, handmade chiffon cake, pound cake, and ice cream. It's very delicious 😋 If you make a reservation, you can also have private parties or hors d'oeuvres available ✨
