Kyoto, Japan｜Kamonose-Cabin

If I had to mention only one thing about this place it will be its atmosphere. We visited the place during our biking trip in the end of November and had there our lunch. Before you even get a chance to see the place and realize how cosy it is, right when you step over the doorstep, you will be surprised by nice smell of the fire and warmth coming from the stove in the middle of the room. The house itself is made from logs, which is quite unique for this area, and nicely decorated. There were also two cats enjoying the warmth of the stove. The owner of the cabin and his wife were very friendly. When it is cold outside, it is hard to beat such welcoming atmosphere. We ordered a curry sets and coffee. Curry was a bit simple in my opinion but coffee was good. There were also some home made cookies which we bought as small gifts from the trip. No need to say that I highly recommend this place!

We love this place very much and the lunch was delicious. The owner is right...freedom to speak and express is important for a country or a city!
