Uji, Kyoto, Japan｜Sabo Kunugi

Spoilt with the paradox of restaurant choices in Uji. The dessert signboard caught our attention. The food tasted delicious. I want to compliment the tofu, which looks simple; however, I can't forget the light, creamy, soft yet spongy texture.

A zen meal by the beautiful river. Atmosphere is fantastic, food also tastes good. Would recommend the matcha zaru soba and matcha fondue.

Homey little place by the river to slurp some matcha soba. We came for lunch and ordered the soba noodle set. You can order your noodles either cold or in a hot broth. The accompanying snacks such as tofu and a few slices of broiled eel were really nice as well. Riverside location is another plus. Can recommend!
