More Comments at Google MapSome really fantastic shaved ice - much higher quality than you’d expect for the price, which is about half of what you’d pay for the same kakigori at another place. The pudding kakigori had a pudding-flavored sauce drizzled with caramel, and there was a whole pudding underneath the ice. The peach flavor was wonderful - the sauce was peach but also seemed to have a note of matcha or some sort of tea, and some of the ice was milk. There were whole pieces of peach inside. When we went, there was no indoor seating so we had to eat outdoors, but they had a covered space with some tables (no chairs) to quickly eat outside.
This place deserves a 5 Star rating. Staff is very kind and helpful even though we speak little Japanese. Their shaved ice and pastries (pudding and tiramisu) are out of this world!!
Walking around on the cold, we decided to get lost in our way to find the philosopher 's path. Our feet and minds exhausted, we found this place. On the entrance, there's a stand, a showcase of Japanese and French patisserie. We pick two and order some macha tea. With limited English and our lack of Japanese, we were send upstairs. A tea master attend our needs in a tiny but welcome area, full of white and calm. Her kid was running around, just being a kid, it bring a smile on us. Tired as we were, when we got those creamy teas and fluffy cakes, ours bodies replenish of energy and good vibes. What a great find on the way.
