Local omurice restaurant situated not far from the Golden Pavilion. There are no English menus nor are the staff English-speaking. Even so, they were able to communicate to my sister and I that the omurice came in multiple sizes and recommended the "ladies size" for us. The portions were very generous and I cannot fathom the larger sizes. Rice was served with miso soup and a simple salad. Please be aware that this place is smoker-friendly so if you can acclimate to the smell, I would recommend this spot because you can't beat the value. We were pleasantly surprised to find out the dish only came up to ¥480.

Amazing omurice and chicken bento box. It felt like it was made with pride and the family that own the restaurant were extremely lovely.
