There are only 6 seats in this restaurant, so make a reservation before you come. We didn't make a reservation before coming because we just came across this restaurant while in Miyazu. But fortunately for us, the owner took us here for dinner. The sushi was delicious, you should try it if you come to Miyazu.

My partner and I got a chirashi and sushi set for lunch, as well as a rolled omelette, and we loved every part of it. The sushi rice was perfectly soft, but not overly. The fish was really one of the best, if not, the best I’ve eaten for for this price point. The rolled omelette was soft and sweet. Not to mention, the owner was very friendly and nice! We had small talks with him here and there. He is able to speak a little English since he has lived in Ohio before. However, he told me to write down on Google reviews that his English isn’t so good, so he prefers Japanese lol. What a funny man. The location is hard to find, since it’s tucked in, but once you look at the front of the building from Google maps, you’ll figure it out. It used to be a bar so the atmosphere is very different than your normal Sushi restaurants. Regardless, you won’t be disappointed with the taste and friendly service here. And for those who don’t smoke, please note that this place is smoke-friendly.

After spending the day enjoying the scenic Amanohashidate area, we spent the evening discovering the beautiful hearts of the people in Miyazu. The food was fantastic but it was the people that made this meal memorable. Thank you to the chef-owner and even the regulars (who I have rudely forgotten their names 申し訳ございます) who welcomed us and shared their fascinating life stories while tolerating our horrific Japanese as we tried to share a small part of ours. 御馳走様でした!
