We had a wonderful lunch here! The chef was SO kind and welcoming, and the food was incredible, and affordable. They were very foreigner friendly, which can be hard to find around this area. Highly recommend for quality delicious sushi!

Fresh and delicious, no other words!!! Owner goes out of his way and makes you feel welcome. A La Carte menu available also and best sake in town! Can’t wait to visit okiyoshi Kyoto again.

We were lucky to find this sushi place that is very close to our hotel. The sushi are made by the chef/owner of the restaurant and they are very fresh and delicious. The chef is a charming person and he speaks a bit English. He gave us tips on how to eat certain types of sushi when he placed the sushi on the plate in front of us. Thank you and we totally enjoyed the experience at this friendly restaurant.
