What's very special was that there was a two in one meal set. That was guests could combine two meals in one set, such as one omelet rice and one pasta, two different or the same flavor of omelet rice, or two different or the same flavor of pasta and so on, and enjoyed a cheaper price than two meals. Moreover, two meals were served in the same tableware, which was an elongated dinner plate. Therefore, it was very cost-effective for people with large appetites. Of course , two people could eat together also. It was worth to mention that this restaurant was very friendly to foreign tourists, as long as guests present a passport, they could get a 10% discount on all meals. I simply do not understand how this place has 3.4 stars. The egg omelet with savory sauce over top with the burger was one of the best dishes I’ve had across my entire trip to Japan. The vibe of the restaurant was great, the service was awesome. At the end of our trip to Kyoto as a family, this was such a great way to finish off our stay. I seriously recommend going here!

Located at the basement of Avanti, behind the escalator. They serve Japanized western food (yoshoku) like hamburg steak, omurice, etc. Had the Doria set meal (with soup and salad), it was good and cheesy but it was quite a big serving and very rich so I couldn't finish my food 🥹 But to be fair, the usual serving size in Japan sometimes is too much for me. I dined in at 9 pm so only 1 table was occupied. There are also bar/counter seats for solo diners, and a basket per seat where you can place your stuff. Also a 5% discount if you show your passport, but no english menu so you'll need a translator app.
