Visited this bakery in the morning for breakfast. Although there are so many choices of bread and pastry, I ordered their Morning Toast set. It comes with a super thick toast with jam, boiled egg, salad, and drink of your choice just for 500 yen! It’s a good deal imo.

A beautiful space with delicious food/drink. The bread is TO DIE FOR & they've done a great job at incorporating Japanese flavors into otherwise French & German baked goods. Definitely steal a moment of peace here before you venture off to Kyoto if time allows! Music was very relaxing & gave us a pleasant look into Takeda daily life. Will hopefully be back to visit in a few years.
