We visited this place after another we were originally planning on was full up on reservations. Turned out to be a gift in disguise! Wonderful drinks, and super friendly/helpful staff. They even recommended a few local places based on our taste in drinks. It was wonderful getting to chat with them about what both we love and what they love, as well as the differences in spirits from east to west. If you only go to one bar in Kyoto, make it this one.

Cool, low-key, classy atmosphere. Fancy and interesting drinks. I had the matcha old fashioned which was a delicious work of art. Our server spoke English and was very helpful. A perfect place to relax after walking all over town in the late-summer heat and humidity. I hope to visit again!

An awesome, peaceful, classy, creative, stylish, and serving delicious things Cocktail Bar. Come get your favourite drink, but with a Japanese twist and try some proper Japanese Craft Beer. I loved it, I hope you will, too.
