Recommend to book in advance because this place is popular. It was fully booked when I went (20.11.2023). The restaurant located on the 5th floor. Upon arrival you will be asked to take off your shoes and leave them in the shelf near the reception area. There is one staff who speaks a good english. She gave us a QR code to order the food. Everything tasted delicious and the price was really cheap. Definitely will be back.

Food is absolutely to die for. There are english menus on the QR code they give you! We were greeted right away with a man who didn’t speak english but went out of his way to use his phone to translate. It would have been way more polite for us to get a reservation, even though they said they were booked they gave us a seat regardless. The place seems like it’s for the younger crowd but that shouldn’t sway you from going! Music was great, atmosphere was great. Probably going to eat here again before our trip in Kyoto comes to an end.
