Kyoto, Japan｜Seisyuan

This restaurant is very close to the Togetsukyo bridge and it is a joy to eat while watching the river/ bridge. I would rank this place some where between 4.0 * to 5.5* depending on how you value the dollar, location, food, portion. I am new to Japan. The tatami mat seat is very cool. We ordered the BBQ eel, tempura set, katsu don and they are beyond average. The price is very cheap considering this is one of the famous tourist attraction at the town.

A lot of harsh critics here. Food is not sublime but very solid nonetheless. Serving portions are generous and the price is affordable, especially considering it comes with a great view of the river on tatami mats.

The katsudon was absolutely delicious and the view of the river was a nice addition to dinner!!
