Went here with my family for dinner and had a great time. They were able to accommodate the 5 of us without reservation though the table was meant for just 4 so one person was slightly squished into the table leg. Service was great! The waitress was able to explain each dish in limited English. Each dish was beautifully made and tasted delicious. A great start to our time in Kyoto experiencing this traditional Japanese course set with local Kyoto produce. Also it is cool they change their menu seasonally

Wonderful traditional and authentic Kyoto style kaiseki meal. As a tour guide this is one of the few restaurants I bring clients to, as they can full experience a delicious and healthy meal as authentic as possible.

Had a lunch set for an affordable price and it was delicious. The service is welcoming and great.
