As soon as you enter the store, you can purchase a meal ticket from a ticket vending machine that allows you to sit at a table or counter, and your order is sent to the kitchen at the same time, so there is no staff to serve you. This is a self-service restaurant where the number of your ticket is displayed on the in-store monitor when your ordered meal is ready, and you go to the counter to pick it up. The prices of the menu items are reasonable, and the pork cutlets are moist, chewy, and have the best texture. Cheap pork cutlets tend to have a lot of fat or have streaks on the meat that make it hard to bite into, so you won't be disappointed, but Matsunoya's pork cutlets are moist and crispy without any fat, so you won't be disappointed at all! All you can eat rice and miso soup. If I had to say it, I would have gotten a perfect score of 100 if I could get free refills of the cabbage...👍

I'm sure this is the only Matsunoya near the station in Kyoto City. It's a self-service store, so you can get unlimited refills of rice and miso soup. The pork cutlet is also crispy and delicious.
