More Comments at Google MapFound this place by chance. Staff were great, they communicated to us there would be a longer wait for food as all the tables were just finishing up and the cooking process takes a while. They are English friendly and provided English menus with explanations of the dishes and sides (but doesn't hurt to know a bit of Japanese). Food itself was delicious. The cutlet was light and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We opted for the smaller portion and it still filled us up. It was also fun to try all the different dips that came with the meal. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.
We accidentally found this place while wandering around hungry near our ryokan. On this vacation in which we had many more expensive and fancy meals, and yet this is the one we'll remember most. The pork was so juicy and flavorful, and we deeply enjoyed getting to try so many dips and salts. We also appreciated the time spent to educate diners on where the ingredients come from. (You can't so much order a lot of different dishes as different sourcing for your pork, which we found interesting. We would've come back to try the different varieties if we could.) Very much recommended from a couple of dorky international foodies.
Delicious pork. Great range of choices. The serving of accompaniments is a welcome benefit. The waiting time is fairly long after ordering, but it is reassuring to know that the chefs are cooking the food to order.
