The food is so delicious. It was crispy, and very well done. Although the food that l chose was fried food, it was quite light and tasty. Cost and quality basis definitely worth the price. l highly recommend. Only the tea served was a bit different and had a strong smell (as a foreigner, l havent tested this earlier)

English friendly. Nice atmosphere. Kind service. And the food is delicious! This is by far one of my favourite restaurants in Kyoto. They have season menus and lunch menu. Very fresh and tasty.

I think they and their sister shop off Shijo have the best katsu in town. They have a few other locations in Kyoto as well. Their own pickles, yuzu salad dressing, and homemade tonkatsu sauce to which you add ground goma all complete the excellent taste. They package takeaway up very nicely and it stays well. They also have excellent large cream puffs for take away, with seasonal flavours.
