Kyoto, Japan｜Mamemono to Taiyaki Arashiyama Honten

I came here Monday at noon and there was no line at all, but after I lined up, the queue grew like crazy. The taiyaki was delicious, it was crispy on the edges, fluffy and soft on the inside, the custard was piping hot at the first bite, but so delicious I didn't mind burning my mouth. I also got an iced matcha latte which was really refreshing and filling. I loved it and will come back again.

We came on a Sunday noon time, so we had to queue some time for it. The pastry is very good because they are all freshly made and hot when you get it. Personally I like red bean but the custard filling is also very good.

Bought one Taiyaki with custard filling. Taiyaki design is cute and the custard filling was a lot! Yummy!
