Miyazu, Kyoto, Japan｜お食事処 割烹たんご

Seafood restaurant inside Hotel Tango. They have couple private rooms. Staff was friendly and one spoke some basic english. Seafood was fresh and price very reasonable (500-1500 yen for most dishes). Google translate not able to accurately translate all the dishes, but photos on their website and in google maps should help.

First visit. It was attached to the hotel we stayed at. Local sake Koda cold ⇒ Kyoto spring warm. Sashimi, sea cucumber vinegar, salt-grilled sardines, and grilled heshiko. Everything was delicious. I want to come again. Note: Second visit. Assortment of 3 sashimi, grilled eggplant, and simmered fish. The sake is local sake, spring in Kyoto. Whatever you eat is delicious.

The food is very delicious. I always go there when I go to Miyazu. It's a restaurant that gives the impression that local people come here rather than tourists.
