A nice and friendly 居酒屋 in Kyoto. When we walked in, I asked the owner whether we could get a seat without booking since I saw the sign of reservation only. He said yes with a smile. The food and drinks are great, the better part is the owner came to have a great chat with us. I was surprised that his English is so good. He told us that he likes rock music. That is the way he learns english. Strongly recommend the friendly and nice 居酒屋。

Staff were so friendly, food was amazing. Light crumb and deep fry, good price- 15 x meat & vege skewers + 1 x chicken skin + 2 x camembert + 2 x beers + 1 x juice was ~6.2k jpy

We had a very fun evening at this restaurant! We did not make a reservation, since we found it by chance, but they found a place for us to sit. The staff was very nice, fun and energetic. The restaurant has a good atmosphere. An english menu is available! The food was good and we did not have to wait long. We had a selection of various meat and vegetable skewers. We cann recommend the homemade plum wine!
