More Comments at Google MapThis restaurant is famous for its bamboo shoot kaiseki in spring. It is located next to Nagaoka Tenmangu Shrine and is about a 7-8 minute walk from Hankyu Nagaoka Tenjin Station. There is also a small parking lot, and the Oyamazaki and Nagaokakyo interchanges are also nearby, so I think it's easy to access. In addition to bamboo shoots and other bamboo shoots, you can also enjoy a combination of fish dishes. Rare items such as bamboo shoot sashimi, grilled bamboo shoots, and bamboo shoot sushi follow. The dishes have a light flavor with a strong dashi stock that really brings out the flavor of the bamboo shoots. The bamboo shoot season coincides with the cherry blossom season, so eating bamboo shoots while looking at the cherry blossoms is the best.
We had a celebratory meal at noon in the light rain. I was impressed by how much effort went into each dish. The sashimi is clean and only uses red sea bream. It was a wonderful and delicious sea bream. I enjoy fishing by myself, but I was able to enjoy the same texture in my room as when I had just caught the fish. The crab steamed meat is soft yet firm, which goes well with the wonderful dashi soup. It was a happy meal.
Just in time for the season of bamboo shoots. This is a recommended restaurant for the bamboo shoots course, which is characterized by a large "jikita" that is filling. There are 11 items, so even men will be full.
