Kyoto, Japan｜Sea bream rice MAKI Kinkakuji store

Lovely restaurant very close to kinkakuji temple. The reice set with red snapper is not what you can usually ran into in Japan so it feels special. Tasted very good too. The portion is just right and the display is beautiful. The owner is very nice she was try to explain how to eat the right way to me.

Food was delicious and just the right amount. A bit on the pricier side but has some special dishes. The restaurant is quite small though.

Delightful, tasty and fresh. The owner and staff were lovely and warm. Perfect rest spot after having seen the breathtaking Kinkaku-ji shrine.
