Kyoto, Japan｜Yakiniku Daisen-honten

Best yakiniku we have had in Japan so far! The staff really went out of their way to make us feel at home. They provided English menus in addition to the Japanese (I speak some Japanese but my companions speak none) and they took the time to explain things to us. The interior is gorgeous and it just made for an all-around delightful experience.

I made a reservation for dinner on the way back from Nijo Castle and visited. The parking lot is a little small and inconspicuous, but it is possible to park about 5 cars. The menu is extensive and you can enjoy various cuts of meat. For the price, the meat is very tender and packed with flavor. The cold noodles at the end are thick, and you can change the flavor with mustard or vinegar to your liking. The atmosphere of the store was that all the employees were efficient, very polite, and made me feel comfortable. The price was about 20,000 yen for two people (a man and a woman). Thank you for the meal!
