Kyoto, Japan｜Boulangerie Galopain

Before I flew to Japan, I once came across a video about this bakery on YouTube. Already then I was interested in this place. After just a week in Japan, I really started to miss European-style bread. By luck, I was in Kyoto and it turned out that I can visit this bakery! The pastries there were really delicious, I even came in twice for more. The service is also very nice, I recommend this place to bread lovers!

There is a video about this place on YouTube published by FoodStar. It follows the French trained baker from 2am until after store opening. The food looked absolutely delicious and one of a kind. The prices looked incredibly reasonable too - even for Japan.

If you want real French bread and pastries, this is the little part of europe in Japan. Great place.
