Zaru soba might have been a more typical summer choice but I was glad to try it. Filling and satisfying. They have a descriptive and instructional English menu and incredibly friendly staff. They even went out of their way to explain to me how to enjoy sobayu (soup). The place is cozy and beautiful with 4 tables that can seat up to 24 people. Not too busy at 1pm on a Sunday in autumn.
