More Comments at Google MapI ordered the most basic soba: kake soba. It's served with yuzu on the side and you can add it to the dish if you wish. It's my first soba in Japan and I like both how simple yet tasty kake soba is as well as the interior of the restaurant. Will definitely stop by again to try tempura soba.
We went in 2017, August. The food was pretty good, considering the price. Just about every other place was at least 5000 yen, and basically no availability without a reservation. Our meal set was 2700 yen per person. (Anyone going to this area to eat should note that it can get VERY busy, at least before Covid, so reservations are recommended, or else you should expect to wait a long time or go hungry.) We didnt know to make reservations in advance, and this shop was one of the few (maybe the only one) that, thankfully, had a waiting list. They told us the approximate wait time, and we went for a hike. When we came back, the table was ready. They gave us water-edge seats and didn't rush us at all. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
Amazing food. Very cheap. It’s a typical Japanese restaurant. The staff was very friendly and it was fairly quick to be served. Would recommend to visit this place!
