There are not many foreigner reviews of this place so I thought I'd leave one. To be clear, it's easier if you can speak and read a little Japanese as they don't really do English. The owner is friendly and tries his best even though my Japanese is not so good. The food is excellent and good value for money. I took several items off the daily menu and had tasty tempura squid tentacles and smelt. Sashimi was great too. The horse sashimi (basashi) was one of the best I have eaten in Japan and I recommend it if you like this.
