More Comments at Google MapDuring our stay in Sonobe, we took a trip to this restaurant to end our day wearing kimonos around the town since this restaurant has a traditional seating option and I am so glad we did. It was a very close walk from the train station and we arrived soon after they had opened for dinner. We met Tatsumi-san and his mother, the owners, and they gave us an experience that was unforgettable. They were both so kind and helpful despite us not being able to read the menu and knowing very little Japanese. The food was so delicious and very affordable. They even wanted to take photos with us in our kimonos at the end! We had an amazing time and enjoyed some incredible food with wonderful memories!
I used it for lunch. The customer service was very good and I enjoyed a pleasant lunch. For my meal, I ordered the Yumiya set meal. After that, I also ordered the salt-grilled chicken. It wasn't on the lunch menu, but it was deliciously made. Thank you! The Yumiya set meal included fried chicken, meatballs, and meatball soup, all of which were delicious and gentle homemade dishes. The meatballs in particular were extremely delicious. I still want to use it. Thank you for the meal. Second visit. Miso ramen with meatballs. After all, the meatballs here are exquisite.
It's a wonderfully designed store. There is a spacious counter, a space with a treadle sewing machine and a small organ, and a restroom with a red door and a tatami room separated by a wall. In the restroom, extra toilet paper was placed on a spool of thread (?), which was very stylish. The tatami room was covered with Ryukyu tatami mats, and there were three wooden tables on each side, and the window was about the height of the seat from the floor, so when you sat down, you could see the outside scenery, and it was nice to see both from the outside and the inside. . The master looked tough and I was a little scared, but he spoke kindly and my nerves soon eased. Mom was a stylish person who looked great in short cuts. The food is chicken. There isn't much on the menu, but I ordered mainly the chicken dumpling hotpot and it was just right, so if you're just having a drink, you might want to have something other than the chicken dumpling hotpot as a snack. The food I ordered this time was the one in the photo (I forgot to take a photo of the fried chicken first, so the photo turned out to be half-eaten.), and the drinks were a medium bottle of beer and a glass of Japanese sake. A cup of Kaku Highball. My personal favorites are the mildly flavored chicken dumpling hotpot, grilled chicken skin, octopus and spring cabbage salad. And the bill was 8,800 yen (I think it was). Thank you for the meal♥
