Really awesome Indian cuisine! Food tastes phenomenal and comes out pretty fast after ordering. The cheese naan tastes very unique compared to America as the cheese used here in Japan is very sweet, milky, and stretchy. Needless to say, I indulged myself. You get a large quantity of food for a very great price. The employees are kind and attentive. It's near the subway and the hotel I was staying at so it's very convenient. If you're looking for Indian cuisine and great flavors for an awesome price, stop by this restaurant!

I swung in here in July during the busy festival season, and this place is awesome. Sometimes you have a craving for Indian food in Japan, and Taj Mahal did not disappoint. Excellent food with friendly and prompt service. The naan is excellent, and the tikka masala is delicious. There is a lot of variety as well. Prices are very reasonable. Easy to order in both English and my admittedly average Japanese. Highly recommended!

A hidden gem in Kyoto. Great selection of delicious Indian food at very reasonable prices. It's rare that our family of 5 (kids aged 14, 11, 7) all leave a restaurant super satisfied but on this occasion it was absolutely spot on. Highly recommend, particularly for larger families as there is plenty of room in the restaurant.
