Kyoto, Japan｜MOTOI Gyoza

A nod has been given to this very cool gyoza spot that also features a wild and delicious brûlée potato salad. Desperate for greens do not miss the farm salad with shiso leaves. Vegetarian dumplings were loaded with shitake and more. The motoi dumplings rock. Soju drinks are super fresh and good and non alcoholic drinks are also good. Service is friendly and the price is right. I love that it’s this sweet quiet spot off the market.

It's the best Gyoza I never had. It's so good that I am craving for it eversince. I serve a variety of Gyoza and it states the ingredients clearly in the menu. I pick the one without shrimps as I am allergic to it. It's so delicious... Pairing it with my white wine. They serve variety of drinks/alchol too. A Must Patronise restaurant for everyone

Came from the recommendation list from The Pocket Hotel next door, and I wished I came earlier to dine here instead of my last night in Kyoto. Absolutely best Gyoza I had while in Japan, and it was worth the price. There's also english on the menu so it's tourist friendly. Highly recommend!
