Kyoto, Japan｜Gyoza Taizou

We've waited for 45 minutes to get in but it was worth it. The place has like 8-10 seats so it can get full quickly. The staff was so friendly and chatty and the atmosphere was great. We've tried all gyozas they offer and the Speciality one was the best. Definitely recommends, but if you're hungry and there's a line, maybe find something else

The restaurant is situated on the second floor, and you'd almost miss finding it because it's a little bit tucked away. It's a nice small dining area, seats about 10 I think, so no larger groups. But it is very charming. The chef is very friendly and personable, and interacts easily while cooking up your food right in front of you. There is an order minimum of one drink and two orders (8 gyoza each) per person, which is easy enough because they are pretty small. Our group of 5 ordered 80 gyoza total, and we could have definitely ordered more. It was soooo delicious. I absolutely recommend!

The most amazing experience we had in Kyoto . The chef is very very kind and friendly . The atmosphere is very authentic and the dumplings are wonderful.
