Very friendly and personal service! I assume the chef was also the owner who had a great personality and sense of humor as well. The server had very good English and also very personable. The steak, sides, mollusk appetizer and dessert were all fantastic! Didn't try any other steakhouses in our limited time in Kyoto but no need next time...6 stars if possible!

It was the best food experience so far in Japan, everything was delicious, the chef makes it a very pleasant experience, the steak was amazing! Definitely my favorite
