More Comments at Google MapVery good yakitori. Was in Kyoto for a short international trip away from home after being unable to travel for last 3 years due to covid. Made a reservation 1 month in advance for a table for 2 at 8pm. A very popular place. When we got to the restuarant we were promptly seated on seats on the bar counter. A relatively small restuarant and it was full. A number of guys preparing and cooking the food and a couple more waiting on the tables. As we didn't know much about the cuisine, the chef who spoke very good English because he is from US recommended a number of menu items to us. We ordered a few dishes and got quickly to understand how it worked. After finishing the standard starter dish and a few dishes recommended by the chef, we started ordering a lot of dishes. Wsshed down with a couple of glasses of beet. Very busy. While we were there a number of people were enquiring at the door for a table, but were politely refused. We were in the restuarant for our 1.5 hour seating. For the two of us the total bill 2 was around JPY15k. Left very satisied and full. Highly recommended. Need to make advance booking to avoid disappointment
It was a wonderful place. it has a very good and friendly cook. It was a small room but had a good atmosphere. Every person has to pick between a 6000 yen menu and a 4000 yen menu, with a combination of skewers and side dishes, ending with ramen or rice.
Best yakitori ever! I’ve been two times since last year and never been disappointed :) the staff is very very friendly and everything is amazingly tasty and fresh. The drinks are well made and the chicken meat is so juicy. We paid around 4-5k yen for 2 people and we had 3 drinks in total with a lot of skewers. I would recommend the chicken sausage, the quail eggs, chicken neck and chicken tail skin ❤️amazing restaurant
