We love the food here! Everything was flavourful and delicious! Try the chicken heart and gizzard and cartilage! I also love the chicken liver pate with crispy bread. The service here is good too! The owner is a friendly guy who also does the grilling. The other servers are friendly and helpful too! Make a reservation if you can cos it’s not a very big place. If you cannot, then drop by earlier at around 5.30pm!

This is a very small restaurant, very limited seats, do make reservations beforehand. Staff were polite and observant; offered us the English menu. Reasonably priced and the quality/taste of the food were AMAZING. If you tried Tori-Tama in Singapore, you know what am saying. Same food menu, same HIGH standard with a much more competitive price. Should be on MICHELIN Guide! ✅ Greeted customer with a smile + super polite ✅ Staff were prompt and attentive ✅ Staff know their menu well (i showed her the photo of a dish found on googlemap, which was not shown on the English Menu, she immediately identified it & served me my additional order) ✅ Good food (quality & taste) ✅ Reasonable price ✅ Great ambiance ✅ We were their last customer of the day but yet they didn't rush us out (very thankful for that & we noticed they were preparing to close the shop, thus we asked for bill & left the restaurant happily & contently) Top three things i look out for good restaurant:- #1 Good food #2 Good customer service #3 Great ambiance Will recommend to everyone i know if they are to visit Kyoto! We visited this place back in March when we walked by the restaurant around dinner time, we were the only customers. The staffs were really kind. The food was outstanding and that was such a memorable highlight of our trip. ❤️
