Kyoto, Japan｜Sumiyakiyakitori Ichiban Senbonji Nouchiten

We discovered this place walking home on our first night in Kyoto. The food is absolutely amazing, we tried a lot of skewers that were all delicious. Service is perfect and friendly. Since that night we have been there 3 times and would not hesitate to go back more if we didn't have to leave. Highly recommended.

Hard to think of a more authentic yakitori experience. Just what I was looking for. Add in the value element and unless you’re a strict vegetarian, it’s a must visit.

The meat is a little small, but it's carefully cooked one by one, and the price isn't too high.
