This place is the best yakitori restaurant I’ve ever been to! Chicken is very well seasoned and the chicken soup served before the meals was simply amazing and savory. Ojiya (rice porridge with egg) was also very tasteful even though it was a simple dish. The staff and owners were super kind too. I will definitely come back when I visit Kyoto next time.

It is a gem where local Japanese visit a lot. The old couple cook food with decent skills. Skewered foods taste very good and have reasonable prices. They cost around 130 yen. If I lived in Kyoto, I would visit frequently. Highly recommendable!! :)
