If you are looking for ‘Old Skool’ yakitori/Izakaya (more yakitori) then this is definitely the place. Nothing fancy, 1980s styling, staff that have been there forever and more importantly icy cold ‘Nama biru’ and highballs. Be polite, use some Japanese and be respectful.

Very delicious skewers. The horse sashimi was really unique and really delicious, the fired chicken was also super good. The staff were all really nice.

Chanced upon this place while looking for a place to grab a quick bite and what a gem this place was. The atmosphere, the food (Yakitori- Skewers) and the chef were amazing. I will definitely return once I’m back in Kyoto.
