Kyotango, Kyoto, Japan｜Hand-made Udon Takumi

This restaurant specializes in Japanese udon. Upon going in, you will see indicators of the value: only see Japanese menu on the wall and customers totally engaged in their food. They are very friendly and helpful.

I visited you during lunch time. Although it was a weekday, the place was already full by 12:00. I can't wait inside the store, so I'll have to wait in my car in the parking lot. I ordered a set menu of udon and kakiage bowl. The noodles are chewy and have a different texture from Miyazu's Konpira Udon. Tsuyu has a strong flavor and is a little dark. This is my personal favorite flavor♪ A "large serving" is quite a large portion (2 servings? 3 servings?), so if you're not that confident, please skip it.

I was finally able to go to my long-awaited store 🥰 It's handmade udon, and if you try this udon, you won't be able to eat udon from any other restaurant. I was surprised by the udon 🍋, but this is great 😍 The tempura is crispy and delicious, and the chicken tempura is addictive😍
