Kyoto, Japan｜Hyakuren

This is a restaurant that I visit many times every time I stay in Kyoto. This was my first visit in a year, but I was happy that they remembered me properly. And this time too, I enjoyed drinking it every time. All the food is delicious and the drinks go well. It's a small shop, so I often see people being turned away because it's full. The parent shop here is a pickle shop, so the pickle platter is personally the best.

Went for lunch. If you eat lunch in Kyoto, it usually costs over 1000 yen, but here you can eat a set lunch for around 800 yen. There is a daily lunch, and this time I ate boiled chicken and radish. I thought it would be a good deal to have a side dish, miso soup, rice, and one item for less than 1000 yen. The volume is also solid, and if you pay an extra fee, you can change the rice to a large serving, so I think that even men can be fully satisfied. The menu is also very rich, so it is recommended! Another good thing is that you can smoke. For smokers, I think it's a big deal. The atmosphere of the shop feels like an old-fashioned, slightly dirty izakaya. I personally liked the atmosphere. Finally, my most recommended menu is stewed beef tendon.

Cheap and delicious! quick! The store clerk also moves very well and is friendly and nice. It feels like a public bar, but it's really good! I was surprised that the steak bowl was really good! And really cheap! ! !
