The unagi in this restaurant is absolutely amazing. BEST unagi I’ve ever had in japan. The price of the dishes are very reasonable. Also, it is less crowded here compared to the michelin unagi restaurant nearby and we dont need to reserve or wait for seats. It is worth a try if u are looking for a high-quality unagi restaurant in Kyoto.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Kyoto city centre. The entrance is difficult to find though. Excellent eel rice comparable to the Michelin star restaurant nearby but it is more easy to have seat here.
