Great little Yaki Niku (grilled meat) place run by a young crew. Staff were very friendly and super helpful, and the food was delicious. If you're from the west just be aware that they do allow smoking in the restaurant but it is extremely well ventilated so wasn't an issue at all. Definitely worth a try!

I came to Kyoto for training, and there was a place that sells hormones that I like, so I popped in and it was so delicious that I kept coming back! Really delicious! ! I like it as much as I want it in my hometown... Also, it was a very nice point that you can smoke inside the store! This is an izakaya where you can enjoy pork offal deliciously and cheaply, something you don't often find in Kyoto! For alcohol, I had a Dewar's Highball, which was also made with the right amount and was delicious! There is a counter, so it was easy for even one person to enter.
