I stopped by for a late lunch on the way back from visiting Yoshimineji Temple. The inside is brighter and has a more relaxing atmosphere than it looks from the outside. The table made from the roots of a big tree is amazing! There was also a carved wooden Buddha, and we had a matsutake mushroom gozen. It seems that small plates are also sold in stores, so they might make good souvenirs. When I asked the shop staff for information about Yoshimineji Temple and the road, they kindly talked to me with a smile. First matsutake mushrooms of the year! Thank you for the meal. 😋
